In just a few months, thousands of farmers markets will be opening throughout the US, offering fresh vegetables, greens, meats and local artisanal bread, coffee, and more.  And many of those farmers markets will have a powerful and free new tool to make communication with their customers easier, faster and more powerful.

To learn how to use this new tool, FarmFreshWeb.Com is offering a series of online seminars to explain how its smartphone apps for shoppers and farmers work.  These seminars will explain how to use the apps to send messages directly to customers’ phones, get their attention and remind them to come to the farmers market.

In addition, FarmFreshWeb.Com is offering classes on sales techniques for farmers, selling CSA subscriptions, creating specials, and other topics.  The full class schedule, which is being updated daily, is at  All classes are free and will be recorded to allow people to watch them, on their schedule.

FarmFreshWeb.Com is an online technology company, focused on providing sales and marketing software for farmers markets, local farmers and artisans selling at farmers markets, food hubs and other local efforts. Its primary offerings are the FarmFreshWeb smartphone apps which deliver messages to shoppers and enable farmers and others to send and manage those messages.  Other services include website hosting, SMS marketing, and online marketing – all focused on local farms, artisans and markets.

“We’ve incredibly excited to share this new technology, designed specifically for the small farmer, artisan or market manager,” said Jim Veilleux, President of FarmFreshWeb.Com. “We’re trying to make it free and easy for every small, local vendor to become a successful marketer and communicate with their customers more effectively. As fans of the local food market, we want to empower local producers with technology that’s simple enough that they can actually use it.”
